Flute Lessons
Stephanie has experience teaching students of all ages and levels. As well as maintaining a private studio, she has been an instructor for a number of El Sistema affiliated programs: the Leading note foundation’s Orkidstra program in Ottawa, Esparanza Azteca in Los Angeles, and Garage a Musique in Montreal.
Theory
Stephanie holds a Masters of Music degree from the University of Southern California, and Bachelor of Music with a double major in Scholarship and Flute Performance from the University of British Columbia. She is qualified to teach and tutor music theory up to and including the university level. Students pursuing RCM levels in their instrument often struggle with the theory and history requirements, and private tutelage can be the key to success in these exams.
